2020 and 2021
Due to Covid we did not meet during most of 2020 and 2021.
However, the officers used the time wisely:
It's thanks to the hard work and dedication of the officers during this time that the Chattanooga Fiber Arts Guild can continue to spread our love of fiber arts within our community.
Thank you Linda Walters, Barbara Johnson, Wendy Weirick and Rebecca Heid for leading us to where we are now!
However, the officers used the time wisely:
- We changed the guild's name from Riverbend Fiber Arts Guild to Chattanooga Fiber Arts Guild.
- We set up the guild's nonprofit status.
- We created materials including a our new logo and business card.
- We met virtually with our members to stay in touch and encourage each other throughout the shutdown and the year that followed.
- We scouted out new locations and made a partnership with Bernina Sew N Quilt Studio.
