2015 Past Meetings

January 3 – Hairpin lace, I have ordered 11 looms. They are about $5.50 each if you wish to purchase one. (They are about $7-20 at Hobby Lobby). Bring a ribbon yarn or a bulky yarn along with a glitz yarn to carry along. 60-80 yards of each is a good amount. Can be of any fiber. Worsted will work also, you will just have a more slender scarf. You also need a crochet hook to match your fiber size. http://www.stitchdiva.com/tutorials/hairpin-lace

February 7 – Broomstick lace, bring a size 35 or 50 knitting needle, a light colored, smooth, worsted weight yarn and a crochet hook of appropriate size to work worsted yarn.   See supply list.

March 7 – Card weaving or double knitting

April 11 - (Easter is first weekend) –  Basket making

May 2 – Kumihimo - Pat Keran
