December Meeting- Party and Planning for 2018

January 2018

2017 Murder a Quilt, or Quilt a Muder
which ever comes first.

Show and Tell

The quilts are being created

Ruth's assembled Murder Mystery Quilt
Donna's Murder Mystery Quilt in the planning stage.
Each month starting January 2017, Lauren read us a chapter of the Murder Mystery. Who murdered the quilt shop owner? Each member was assigned a character in the story. Each month the list of "suspects" grew. Also, each chapter had a hidden clue about a quilt block pattern. We then went home and made the quilt block from the clue we were given. At the end of the year we had completed 12 quilt blocks.
At our January meeting, the mystery was solved, and the true criminal was revealed and arrested. After the arrest, some members showed the quilt blocks they had created.
Thanks Lauren this was a great project.

The mystery is solved
