May 10:
Paper Embroidery

Join us for a fun and imaginative Paper Embroidery workshop with the Chattanooga Fiber Arts Guild on May 10! In this hands-on class, we’ll explore the art of stitching on paper to create unique collage-style designs. Using simple embroidery techniques, participants will layer thread, paper, and embellishments to craft expressive, textured pieces that blend fiber arts with mixed media. This class encourages creativity and personal interpretation—no two projects will be alike! Perfect for all skill levels, from curious beginners to seasoned stitchers looking to try something new.

Join the Chattanooga Fiber Arts Guild in our 2025 community project: creating handmade hats for oncology patients to bring warmth and comfort to those in need.

Community Project 2025

The Chattanooga Fiber Arts Guild is excited to launch our 2025 community project: crafting handmade hats for oncology patients in our area.

This initiative is a heartfelt way to use our skills to bring warmth and comfort to those undergoing treatment. We invite everyone, from experienced artisans to first-time crafters, to join us in creating as many hats as they’d like throughout the year.

These hats will be donated to local oncology departments, providing patients with an extra layer of care and kindness during their journey. Together, we can make a difference—one stitch at a time!
