May: Lotus Bags

Picture
Join us as we hand-sew these useful and beautiful little bags with Treasurer Karen Downer!

These relatively small Lotus bags make great little gifts for holding candy, flower seeds, gift cards, Kleenexes, money, jewelry, etc.  We will do the Lotus bag, and the vessel is made exactly the same way.

You use sturdier fabric, like an orphan quilted block, or for home decor fabric. With thick fabric, you can see it won’t close and stands up on its own.

After learning this skill, you will be able to return home with the skills to make your own!

Class Info:

Date: May 9

Time: 10:30 a.m. - 1/2 p.m. (Please arrive a few minutes early to check in and get settled!
